Pachai Pattani masala / Green peas masala / Peas masala / Goki’s Kitchen

Ingredients for Making Green Peas Masala:

1. Medium size Tomato – 1
2. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
3. Fennel powder – 1/2 tsp
4. Kashmiri chili powder – 1/2 tsp
5. Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
6. Garlic – 10 cloves
7. Oil – 2 tbsp
8. Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
9. Some curry leaves
10. Green Peas – as required  (soak for 8 hours and cook for 3 whistles in the cooker)
11. Salt as required
12. Hing

Let”s start:
Step – 1:

In a mixer jar add medium-sized tomato – 1, Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp, Fennel powder – 1/2 tsp,
Kashmiri red chili powder – 1/2 tsp, Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp, Garlic – 10 cloves, Add a little water, grind well, and set aside.

Step – 2:
In a pan, add oil – 2 tbsp, cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp, Some curry leaves and mix well. Add ground masala paste, add the little water, mix it & cover with a lid. cook till the oil separats.

Step – 3:
Then add
salt as required, Hing, and mix well. Add the peas (soaked for 8 hours and boiled for 3 whistles). Cover and cook in low flame for 10 minutes.

Step – 4:
Turn off the stove after 10 minutes.
