Once upon a time, there were two friends, an ant, and a grasshopper. The ant was hardworking and always saved food for the winter, while the grasshopper sang and played all summer. When winter came, the ant had a warm home and plenty of food, but the grasshopper had nothing and begged the ant for help. The ant replied, “You should have thought about the future and worked like me instead of singing and playing all summer.” The grasshopper realized his mistake and promised to work hard from then on.
The moral of this story is that we should always think about the future and work hard to prepare for it, rather than living only for the present.
