The Tortoise and the Hare

moral stories

Once upon a time, a hare laughed at a slow-moving tortoise and bragged about how fast he could run. The tortoise, feeling challenged, asked the hare to race him. The hare, thinking it would be an easy win, agreed to the race. But as they raced, the hare grew overconfident and stopped to take a nap, while the steady tortoise plodded on and eventually won the race. The hare learned that slow and steady wins the race and that overconfidence can lead to downfall.

The moral of this story is that we should be humble and consistent in our efforts, rather than relying on just our talents or abilities, as it can lead to downfall.
