Chicken Salna Recipe / Chicken Salna for parotta / Goki’s Kitchen

Ingredients:

  1. Oil – Required quantity
  2. Chicken (Bone Curry) – 1/2 kg
  3. Cinnamon – 2
  4. Cloves – 4
  5. Cardamom – 3
  6. Pepper – 1 tsp
  7. Fennel seeds – 3 tbsp
  8. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  9. Poppy seeds / Khus Khus / Kasa Kasa – 1 tsp
  10. Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
  11. Bay leaves – 2
  12. Large onion – 2
  13. Tomatoes – 2
  14. Green chilies – 3
  15. Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  16. Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
  17. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  18. Salt – As required 

Step – 1:
Add 2 spoons oil, Cinnamon – 1, Cloves – 4, Cardamom – 3, Pepper – 1 tsp, Fennel seeds- 2 tbsp, Cumin seeds – 1 tsp, Poppy Seeds / Khus Khus / Kasa Kasa – 1 tsp, Grated coconut – 1/2 cup and then cook for 5 mins.

Step – 2:
After 5 mins transfer to the mixer jar & grind them without adding water.

Step – 3:
Add 3 spoons oil, Bay leaves
– 2, Cinnamon – 1, Fennel seeds – 1 tbsp, add 2 large onions and saute for a minute. Add 2 tomatoes, 3 green chilies, add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, then add grounded coconut. Mix all of them well.

Step – 4:
Add the required amount of salt, Take half a kilo of chicken and mix everything together.

Step – 5:
Add 2 cups of water and mix well. Cover the cooker lid and cook for 6 whistles.

Step – 6:
Chicken Salna Ready…
