Peanuts Katli / Peanut Burfi / – Goki’s Kitchen

Ingredients:

1. Peanuts – 1 cup
2. Sugar – 1/2 cup
3. Water – 1/2 cup
4. Ghee – 2 tbsp
5. A pinch of Cardamom powder

Method:

Step – 1:
In a pan add 1 cup of Peanuts. Fry the peanut light brown till the peanut skin peels off.

   

Step – 2:
Transfer to a mixer jar add cardamom powder & grind them. Keep aside.

Step – 3:
Add sugar 1/2 cup, water 1/2 cup & mix it. Boil the sugar water till it becomes thick (1 string consistency). Now add peanut powder and mix it well.

     

Step – 4:
Add ghee 2 spoons, mix well. Turn off the flame when the peanut stop sticking to the pan. 

Step – 5:
Apply some ghee on the butter paper. Pour the peanut mix on the butter paper then close it with another butter paper. Now roll it out to the desired thickness (Make sure you roll it out while it is still hot). Cut the Peanut Katli to your desired shapes and serve it.
